The new temporary exhibit called "Robert McCall's Universe" opens at the University of Arizona Museum of Art on Friday, March 14, 2014. The exhibit provides a look at some of the 200 pieces of artwork donated to the U of A's Archive of Visual Arts in 2007 by McCall. The exhibit is expected to remain on display through July 13, 2014.
The "Robert McCall's Universe" exhibit features art as well as archival papers and photographs that document the creation of the art, which helps give the back story to his works. The art featured in the exhibit include ones that mark moments in space history as well as the making of the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.
