New exhibit: 'Miradas' at Tucson Museum of Art

The new temporary exhibit "Miradas: Ancient Roots in Modern and Contemporary Mexican Art Works from the Bank of America Collection" opens at the Tucson Museum of Art on March 1, 2014. The exhibit contains Mexican art from the Bank of America's corporate collection. The exhibit is expected to remain on display through July 27, 2014.

The exhibit "Miradas: Ancient Roots in Modern and Contemporary Mexican Art Works from the Bank of America Collection" features art created by artists of Mexican descent. The art featured document their observation of culture and how common art theories and cultural aspects have developed since the Mexican Revolution.

About the Tucson Museum of Art: This museum is located at 140 N. Main Avenue, Tucson, AZ. The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday; and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $10 for general, $8 for seniors (65+), $5 for college students, and free for members, high school students, ages 18 and under, and active military or veteran with ID. The first Sunday of every month is free for everyone.
