The new temporary exhibit called "Luminous Moments: Selections from the George Gregson Gift" opens at the University of Arizona Museum of Art on December 13, 2013. The exhibit is expected to remain on display through April 14, 2013.
"Luminous Moments: Selections from the George Gregson Gift" features art from the museum's collection donated by University of Arizona alumnus George Gregson. The exhibit features French works of art from the late 19th century and early 20th century.
About the University of Arizona Museum of Art: The museum is located on the U of A campus near Park Ave and Speedway Blvd. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $5 for adults. Children, active military, museum members, American Association of Museums members, and U of A students, faculty, and staff get in free with proper ID.
