A new exhibit called "Fresh Paint" opens at the University of Arizona Museum of Art on Saturday, March 16, 2013. The exhibit features a variety of two dimensional artwork submitted artists to be sold at in an auction. The art will be sold to support the University of Arizona Museum of Art's exhibitions and education programs.
The art in "Fresh Paint" will be viewable as a preview from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013. The auction for the works in the exhibit will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Tickets for the Art Auction and Soiree are $75. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Live music will be provided by The Gabriel Ayala Trio.
About the University of Arizona Museum of Art: The museum is located on the U of A campus near Park Ave and Speedway Blvd. The museum is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $5 for adults. Children, active military, museum members, American Association of Museums members, and U of A students, faculty, and staff get in free with proper ID.
