New exhibit: 'Desert Grasslands' at Tucson Museum of Art (Video)

One of the new temporary exhibits at the Tucson Museum of Art is called "Desert Grasslands." The exhibit features a variety of art that represents the landscape and animals of the Southwest's desert grasslands. This exhibit is expected to remain on display through July 7, 2013.

The "Desert Grasslands" exhibit features photos, paintings, and resin works of art. The artists with works on display include Michael P. Berman, Kate Breakey, Stephen Capra, MF Cardamone, Diane Dale, Dornith Doherty, Matilda Essig, Deborah Springstead Ford, Moira Marti Geoffrion, Heather Green, Michael Haykin, Ben Johnson, Karen Kitchel, Mark Klett, Mayme Kratz, Joseph Scheer, Stephen Strom, and David Taylor.

About the Tucson Museum of Art: This museum is located at 140 N. Main Avenue, Tucson, AZ. The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday; and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $10 for general, $8 for seniors (65+), $5 for college students, and free for members, high school students, ages 18 and under, and active military or veteran with ID. The first Sunday of every month is free for everyone.
