The new temporary exhibit called "Bob Kuhn: Drawing on Instinct" opens at the Tucson Museum of Art on Saturday, October 12, 2013. The exhibit features some of wildlife artist Bob Kuhn's masterpieces and sketches. The exhibit is expected to remain on display through February 16, 2014.
The "Bob Kuhn: Drawing on Instinct" exhibit features drawings, sketches, and finished works done by wildlife artists Bob Kuhn. Works on display include early drawings from his study of animals at the Buffalo zoo, landscape studies, and gesture sketches from late in his career. The works provide a look at the evolution of Bob Kuhn's artistic process over his career.
About the Tucson Museum of Art: This museum is located at 140 N. Main Avenue, Tucson, AZ. The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday; and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $10 for general, $8 for seniors (65+), $5 for college students, and free for members, high school students, ages 18 and under, and active military or veteran with ID. The first Sunday of every month is free for everyone.
