The new exhibit "AHS 150 Years Celebration" opens at the Arizona History Museum on Saturday, August 30, 2014. The exhibit honors the Arizona History Society celebrating its 150th birthday.
The "AHS 150 Years Celebration" exhibit features 150 items from the collections that represent the people and culture that have shaped Arizona and the Southwest region. The exhibit compliments the Autumn 2014 issue of The Journal of Arizona History.
About the Arizona History Museum: The museum is part of the Arizona Historical Society museums located throughout the state. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for ages 12 to 18 and 60 and up, and free for ages 11 and under. Admission is two for one on the first Tuesday of every month. Parking is accessed from the 2nd Street entrance of the garage at 2nd Street and Euclid.
