On Friday, the Florida State Attorney’s Office released new evidence, including taped law enforcement interviews with bounty hunter Leonard Padilla and his team. Padilla and his group helped bail Casey Anthony out of jail and provided security for her in the summer of 2008.
A female employee of Padilla’s, Tracy McLaughlin, spent the most time behind closed doors with the mother accused of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

“It got to the point where she wouldn’t leave my side,” said McLaughlin.
In the taped interview, she revealed Casey loved the publicity she was getting and talked about music, men, and clothing—evening joking about being on the ‘Howard Stern Show.’
McLaughlin said Casey rarely spoke about her missing daughter and showed little concern when traces of human decomposition were reportedly found in the trunk of her car. She said Casey nonchalantly said that many people had access to her car.
According to McLaughlin, Casey “…lies so much, it’s been her life.” Despite this, she also said Casey is still a very “likable” person.
