Amtrak Guest Rewards members can now obtain a new status tier, Select Executive, offered for those members who earn 20,000 or more tier qualifying points in a calendar year.
Executive status benefits include 100 percent tier point bonus on Amtrak travel; Select Executive welcome kit, including new member card, four one-class upgrade coupons and two complimentary companion fare coupons; one Select Executive earned upgrade for every 3,000 tier qualifying points earned; unlimited access to ClubAcela, Amtrak Metropolitan Lounge, First class lounges and United Club locations; unlimited buy and share points; no annual transfer points limits; auto-registration for promotions and an exclusive Select Executive priority customer service phone number.
Members will also benefit from "Rule Buster" award availability that allows award travel during blackout dates and access to special events and exclusive redemption offers.
The other two tier levels continue to be part of the program: Select and Select Plus. Select status is earned at 5,000 tier qualifying points and offers a 25 percent tier point bonus among other benefits and Select Plus is earned at 1,000 tier qualifying points and offers a 50 percent tier point bonus among other Select Plus benefits.
