The Elder Scrolls Online will be hitting PC and MAC this coming April 4th, but while you may be waiting for that, we have a brand, spankin' new trailer for you to enjoy!
Yesterday, we all found out what Bethesda had in mind for controls on the DualShock 4, as well as how much space The Elder Scrolls Online will take up on the PS4's HDD.
"Throughout ESO’s development, our goal has been to create an MMO that is fun to play and is familiar to Skyrim fans. Gameplay in ESO isn’t identical to Skyrim, so naturally we’ve made some button configuration changes to reflect the differences, such as the use of abilities. At the same time, there are a lot of controller configuration similarities between Skyrim and ESO.
"While details aren’t yet finalized, the PS4 offers an HDD with a tremendous amount of memory. There is plenty of HDD memory available for the game and for years of continuous post-launch content that will be released for The Elder Scrolls Online," Bethesda said.
The game will be hitting the PS4 sometime this June and we can't wait to get our hands on it.
Bethesda also announced a collector's edition called The Elder Scrolls Online Imperial Edition which is made up of a Molag Bal 12" Statue, The Improved Emperor's Guide to Tamriel, a physical map of Tamriel, steelbook packaging, and lots of exclusive digital content. The physical version is available in limited quantities for $99.99 and the Digital Imperial Edition is available for $79.99.
The subscription model and how all of that will work is something we are still interested to hear more about, especially since we learned PS4 players will not need a PS Plus membership to play online. We hope you enjoyed the new trailer and for all of our latest exclusives, previews, reviews and features, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook. Game On.
