2013 is going to be adding a new vampire hit to television. NBC's "Dracula" will be joining the ranks of vampire hit shows, "True Blood" and " The Vampire Diaries" as another option for vampire fans to catch another sexy vampire on the television.
The show will be produced by the same production company as "Downtown Abbey" and will star "Tudors" actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
The show will be set in London during the Victorian age. Dracula will be portrayed as an American entrepreneur who is pretending to be there to help bring the newest science to Victorian England. But, in reality he is there for revenge for what occurred centuries before. And of course, the love interest of this Dracula is a reincarnation of his lost love.
The show is set to start in the 2013 lineup and is listed on NBC's show lineup. There is no exact date as of yet.
So, do you think that "Dracula" will be able to stand the fame of "True Blood" and "The Vampire Diaries"?
