Why now? Disney has come out with a magical offer than might be too good to pass up. Guests can save up to 20% at a Disneyland Resort Hotel most Sunday through Thursday nights beginning April 7, 2013. Alec Murphy, a frequent visitor to Disneyland raves about the newly-renovated Disneyland Hotel. “The Disneyland Hotel was just renovated and it's phenomenal, our favorite hotel on property. The rooms very nice, and the grounds of the hotel are arguably the best. There are tons of Disney touches around the grounds, ranging from geysers in front of the Frontierland tower to Monorail water slides, and it's all done tastefully.”
But, what about the parks? I asked Alec Murphy his thoughts. “As far as rides go there are several not to missed especially on the more family-friendly side. I recommend The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, and it's a small world at Disneyland, and Soarin' Over California and Voyage of the Little Mermaid at California Adventure. All are very appropriate for little ones and, in my opinion, far better than their Florida counterparts. I'd also recommend Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin which is a dark ride where you can spin your vehicles like on the Mad Tea Party. This ride is unique to Disneyland. On the thrill ride side, my recommendations would be Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, and the Indiana Jones Adventure. All these are must-dos at Disneyland. At California Adventure I highly recommend California Screamin', the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and the Radiator Springs Racers. Cars Land, as a whole, is not-to-be-missed, the Racers are spectacular especially at night.”
