Just as Bioware promised last week, the developer has begun further detailing the companion characters which players will be able to adventure with when Dragon Age: Inquisition launches later this fall. In a brief introduction from the Bioware Blog on March 24, fans were given a deeper glimpse into the series’ newest mage follower.

It was previously revealed that Vivienne is obsessed with keeping up with the latest fashions of Orlais and will places a much larger importance on a garment’s appearance over its function in battle. However, Monday’s further look in the mage clues gamers more into Vivienne’s social standing. Known as “The Lady of Iron,” Vivienne is not only a leader for the mages of Orlais, but she also serves as the official enchanter for the country’s Imperial court. As such, she possesses ambitious goals and comes equipped with the social and political skills to make sure that she can achieve them.

Vivienne is just the first companion which Bioware plans to unveil each month before the game’s release. However, the developer has yet to finish detailing the iron lady as more information on Vivienne is scheduled to release this Wednesday.

Bioware's Dragon Age: Inquisition is scheduled to release this fall on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
