On Feb. 17, it was reported that troubled country singer Mindy McCready committed suicide in Herber Springs, Arkansas. Now, the reports are being confirmed by her brother.
Nashville reporter Stacy McCloud broke the news saying:
The Mindy McCready suicide I told you about has now been confirmed from 4 different sources. A statement from the family is in the works
Suicide is always tragic and, even though her life was rough, this is a terrible end for Mindy McCready.
Just last month, she lost her “life partner” David Wilson to an apparent suicide, although there was some speculation that McCready was involved in some way. The couple had a nine month old son together and McCready had another son, 6, from a previous relationship.
After the death of her boyfriend, the children were removed from McCready’s care and the country singer was forced to get help. Although sources said the events had been “eye opening” for Mindy McCready, it seems that she was unable to overcome the tragedies in her life.
