New Daytona 500 start time and date: NASCAR reschedules Daytona 500

What is the new start time for the 2012 Daytona 500? Due to rain, the 54th running of the Great American Race at the Daytona International Speedway will now start at 12 noon ET on Monday, February 27. NASCAR postponed the race on Sunday due to heavy rain, but FOX will still broadcast the race and the lineup (below) remains the same.

The starting lineup includes popular NASCAR drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr,  Danica Patrick, Kyle Busch, Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards, Trevor Bayne and Jimmie Johnson. (see complete starting lineup below)
