David Selby continues to reprise the role of Quentin Collins in Big Finish Productions ongoing series of new Dark Shadows audio dramas.

The Darkest Shadow, due out at the end of June 2014, sees David reuniting with Dark Shadows castmate Donna McKechnie, who played Amanda Harris, the love of Quentin Collins' life, in the original series. Denise Nickerson, who played young Nora Collins, also lends her voice.

Listen to the extended trailer for The Darkest Shadow on David's website or on the Big Finish website.

This story takes place after the audio drama The Eternal Actress. It is written by Nev Fountain and directed by David Darlington and Joseph Lidster. Darlington also provided the music and sound production.

The Darkest Shadow is one of the longest audio dramas, comprising two disc or 120 minutes. Synopsis from the Big Finish website is as follows:

“I am Olivia Corey, the eternal actress. I’ve lived my whole life in two dimensions. Perhaps I prefer it that way.”

Olivia Corey has been offered the role of her life.

They’re making a movie called The Curse of Collinwood by Mr. D Curtis. Apparently it’s based on a true story about an old house in Maine where all manner of terrible things happen.

Olivia is offered the role of ‘Amanda Harris’, a woman created from a painting, destined to fall in love with a cursed man, destined to roam the Earth to find him again.
