Mike Pondsmith, the creator of Cyberpunk 2020 is collaborating with CD Projekt RED to bring you the video game adaptation of the popular pen-and-paper game. Very little is known about the game as of now other than some small details and a visually stunning teaser trailer that leaves you aching for more.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the very near future where technology has advanced to amazing heights. Some see this technology as a curse and others consider it salvation. It will be a nonlinear story with character customization and various character classes. You will be able to free roam through an open world and if you were a fan of the pen-and-paper game you will even be able to visit some familiar places which include; a night club known as The Afterlife, a bar known as Forlorn Hope, and a combat zone entirely conquered by gangs.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a long way off with a hinted release of 2015 at the earliest, but it’s definitely one to keep your eye on. It looks like the game will be initially released for PC and then possibly released on next generation consoles at a later date.
