The sister ship to last year’s Royal Princess, the Regal Princess will have a 50% larger atrium (the Piazza); the SeaWalk – a glass-enclosed walkway that extends 28 feet beyond the edge of the ship and 128 feet over the water; a promenade deck and an aft pool.

Another popular feature is the fact that all outside cabins, which is 80% of the ship’s rooms, will have a balcony. The beds on the Regal Princess will feature pillow-top mattresses and all cabins will have key card slots that automatically turn lights on and off.

Entertainment on Regal Princess will include Princess Live! (a television studio that doubles as a performance venue) where “The Wake Show” will broadcast daily, along with game shows, cooking demos, murder mystery and trivia games, and much more.

The Princess Theater will have big production shows, while the Vista Lounge is a smaller venue that will host musicians, comedians and illusionists.

The Regal Princess will also offer Princess’ big screen Movies Under the Stars, an outdoor poolside theater where guests can wrap up in fleece blankets and munch on free popcorn, cookies and milk and watch movies while a water and light show takes place nearby.

Along with the expected sports amenities, Regal Princess’ Sports Central will feature a batting cage, a laser shooting range and a unique at-sea jogging track. There will also be a golf driving range, a multiuse court (basketball, volleyball, tennis), a court with artificial grass for bocce, croquet and lawn bowling, along with Ping Pong and Kinnect for Xbox gaming systems. The Fitness Center will offer a private aerobics studio, fitness classes, and the ship’s Lotus Spa.
