Do you own a Corvette or have a love of Corvettes? There is a new Corvette club in town called Harbor Corvettes. The club was formed in April 2014. Members are from Charlotte County, Florida and surrounding areas such as North Port.

The club has monthly meetings at Palm Auto Mall in Punta Gorda, FL on the last Thursday of every month starting at 6:00 p.m. Palm Auto Mall has graciously welcomed the club and has become a major sponsor. They provide food and drinks at meetings; provide raffle prizes, donations and much more.

The club members love to eat and they quite often plan monthly outings where the members meet at a specific location and caravan to a local restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The club also plans and attends other activities such as parades, car shows, cruise-ins, museums, ball games, and boat rides.

The Harbor Corvettes will be holding their first Corvette and GM Car and Truck show on December 6, 2014 at the Palm Auto Mall Chevrolet-Buick-GMC Dealership on Tamiami Trail in Punta Gorda, Florida. This is a judged show and the Harbor Corvettes cars will be on display only. The registration fee is $20 pre-registration and $25 the day of the show. The show runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Registration is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The judging starts at 11:00 a.m. and the awards will be presented at 2:00 p.m. Dash plaques and t-shirts will be given to the first 75 pre-registered entrants.

The Harbor Corvettes will also be having a silent auction, door prizes, a Chinese auction, and a 50/50 raffle at the show. Come out and enjoy the day as a participant or a spectator. Food and drinks will be available for sale as well as other vendors and music will be provided.
