New comic book about Kurt Cobain comes out in April

Kurt Cobain will get his own comic book celebrating his life next month. The comic will be released both in digital and print form April 2nd. As a part of Blue Water Production's “Tribute” series, which features comics on Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Jackson, and Freddie Mercury just to name a few, the comic written and drawn by Jayfri Hashim, will chronicle the Nirvana frontman's rise to super stardom and his tragic end. You can pre-order a physical copy of “Tribute: Kurt Cobain” for only $3.99 at Comic Flea Market.

Recently, a commercial for Dutch beer surfaced online featuring several late celebrities hanging out on an island, including Kurt Cobain. Nirvana will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside KISS, Peter Gabriel, Hall and Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstandt. The ceremony will take place on April 10th at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
