There is a new fashion designer that made her debut last Saturday at Bartle Hall’s Grand Ballroom. The LiaVon Boulevard fashion show exclusively featured new clothing designer Auddia Granberry.
Starting her career as an interior design and architectural student at Park University in nearby Parkville, Missouri she took her love for design and channeled into an obsession with apparel and textiles where it flourished into a full-fledged clothing line.
Granberry has developed "LiaVon Apparel," which focuses on high fashion and modern clothing. In addition to the traditional sized clothing lines she has implemented a plus size, men, and swimwear line.
Granberry debuted her collection to Kansas City in a “grand manor” with all the fashion show trimmings! The show featured a large scale, off the floor, two hundred meter runway, with high lighting and V.I.P seating.
Granberry displayed 2013 fashion trends to her red carpet audience in High Fashion (pun intended). She graced her supporters with skilled and entertaining hosts with comedic chemistry, cash giveaways, and a halftime performance by a Kansas City hip hop dance group.
Granberry’s women's collection included two of this year’s hottest commodities in fashion. One of the looks displayed a neatly fitted pair of floral printed satin pants with a loosely fitted top that complimented each other perfectly.
Another must-have for this year the popular “jumper.” This piece of clothing is in high demand in all levels of fashion and on the LiaVon Boulevard runway Granbery paired a beautifully tailored black jumper with a black mid-drift that set the look on fire!
For the LiaVon Men's Collection, Granberry created a blend of urban and high fashion, a look that is also in high demand in the fashion world.
Granberry was able to pair well-fitted garments that easily complimented a man’s figure with button up shirts that made the look both comfortable and neat.
