New clemency campaign for Jonathan Pollard gains momentum

A new campaign for clemency for convicted spy Jonathan Pollard has racked up a series of big name politicos in the last few weeks: former Vice President Dan Quayle, former U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter and Chicago Rabbi Capers Funnye, a cousin of first lady Michelle Obama, reports the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.

Jonathan Jay Pollard is a former civilian intelligence analyst who was convicted of spying for Israel. He received a life sentence in 1987.

The team of four activists includes: David Nyer, a 25-year-old Orthodox social worker from New York, University of Baltimore law professor Kenneth Lasson, Phoenix attorney Farley Weiss, and Rabbi Pesach Lerner, a longtime Pollard advocate and executive vice president of the National Council of Young Israel.

Along with former Vice President Dan Quayle's support, Nyer has successfully elicited letters calling for Pollard's release from  former U.S. Attorney General Michael Mukasey, former Assistant Secretary of Defense Lawrence Korb, and President Reagan's secretary of state, George Shultz.

While the activists would prefer that their names stay out of the media glare, they say their efforts have raised hopes that Pollard's life sentence might soon be commuted.

    Let it.

Pollard was a spy AGAINST the United States for the ZIONIST state of Israel and needs to rot right where he is.

The rest of the government traitors can be rounded up later.

I must apologize for my "fellow American." I remember when the Pollard case went down. The toughest sentence that Pollard ought to have received was revocation of his American citizenship and a one-way ticket to Israel.

People forget that Israel has been the most, if not the only, reliable ally that the United States has in the Middle East. That's the American geopolitical perspective.

My *Christian* perspective is that God made a promise to Father Abraham, and that promise still holds. And that the Messiah will soon come (or as we look at it, return) and settle all remaining differences between us.

    Shalom.

My point is, this is NOT an isolated incident. Israel has a long history of espionage inside the United States.

    Then there are other incidents,

This one occured while I was living in Alamorgordo, NM. Site of much activity and research. Also where the Stealth Fighter group was based. Cloudcroft is a beautiful little oasis town high above the burning white sands of the desert. 16 miles up a winding road.

So no. Let this person rot right where he is. You people either stomp on this now, or it will bite you later.
