Restoration Pictures, a non-profit organization under The Full Gospel Fellowship, in association with Rossetti Productions of Evansville, Indiana, has announced that they will be producing the Christian feature film named One More Round. FYI: This is a movie about boxing and not tavern hopping. The movie will star Tommy Lee Thomas, cousin of one of my favorite singers of all time, B.J. Thomas as Jake "The Jackhammer" Taylor, a promising boxer who walked away from the profession ten years earlier and is trying to make a comeback. The movie costars Mindy Thomas, Tommy's real life wife as his movie wife, Cindy. The movie will be produced by Tommy Lee and Chip Rossetti of Rossetti Productions. Rossetti will also direct, serve as director of photography, and edit the movie. Franco Columbu, 2 time Mr. Olympia and veteran actor of such classic films as The Terminator and Conan The Barbarian will reprise the role of the salty boxing trainer employed by Jake's uncle, who was a big time fighter in his own right.
The script was written in a collaborative effort by myself, Michael Toay, Tommy Lee Thomas and Christopher Abram.
The shooting is tentatively scheduled for December of 2013. This will be at least the fifth feature film produced this year by Chip Rossetti. His 2012 film The Accidental Missionary was co-produced by EchoLight Studios.
