New CEO for WeMade Entertainment USA in prep for new MMO (Photos)

Announced at 5:30 AM PST, Mar 21 WeMade Entertainment USA has appointed Phillip Yun as CEO. This news comes along with the reveal of the company’s new headquarters in Irvine, CA. WeMade USA is preparing to launch their new game “Lost Sagas”.

Korean game companies have been king of the international MMO market and WeMade Entertainment is among them with games like “Legend of Mir 2”. They’ve expanded their company to the Americas with the new branch WeMade Entertainment USA. With Philip Yun as CEO they’ll be prepared for the launch of fighting MMO “Lost Sagas” in April.

Yun has been CEO of companies Outspark and NHN USA previously. Among his other accomplishments the new leader of WeMade Entertainment USA is an advocate of free-to-play MMO’s and oversaw “Fiesta Online”. He’ll be overseeing “Lost Sagas” U.S. launch as well.

In the press release Philip Yun commented,
Our mission at WeMade USA is to bring American gamers the most engaging PC and mobile games from the extensive WeMade Entertainment lineup. Starting with Lost Saga, we have aggressive plans to launch new projects, especially on mobile, that fit our philosophy of publishing games we are excited to play ourselves.”

The upcoming MMO title will span genre’s drawing from history, sci-fi, and fantasy for a multiplayer action packed experience. Up to 16 players can join in on the various game modes and a unique tag team mechanic has been added to the game. Even in the middle of combat a character can switch places with another to save their health bar or get a strategic advantage. Over 50 unique characters will be available to choose from and regular updates are planned to expand the selection of playable characters.

“Lost Sagas” will be free-to-play and launches in April, but you can keep up with news for the game from the work-in-progress website.
