"Castle" is currently airing on Channel 15 in Tempe. On Thursday, Feb. 28, Spoiler TV shared new photos of the cast as they celebrated episode 100 of this series. This series is deep into season five, and it is headed for a season six. With 100 episodes under its belt, this ABC series has shown it has staying power. On the last episode, fans were introduced to Castle's father. He also met the man for the first time. That meeting will have an impact on things to come, and that includes things that will happen next season. Andrew Marlowe teased the following about the series, according to TV Guide:
"We wanted to not give him as big a bite at the relationship as he would want. Castle is going to crave that connection and crave knowing that guy more. That will give us some storytelling options as we go into Season 6 if the TV gods are kind enough to grant that to us.We're interested to see how this influences Castle's writing. There'll be a new Derrick Storm novel coming out this year, and it will be very much influenced by the events he just went through."
No word on a season six renewal for this series has come down from ABC yet. That decision will be made at a later date. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
