List compiled by: Santana Arcia and Ken Allaire

Birds of Central Panama / Aves de Panamá Central (First Edition) is a checklist including over 375 birds found in central Panama, specifically around La MICA Biological Station and Omar Torrijos National Park near El Copé, Coclé Province, Republic of Panama. This is the first comprehensive list to be published for this area of Panama and is a great supplement to other avian literature available for Latin America.

The book includes over 25 colored pictures and information on the area. All text, including bird names, is in English and Spanish.

All proceeds will be donated to conservation-oriented research conducted in the El Copé area through La MICA Biological Station and the incorporation of local Panamanians in such studies.
