New 'BioShock Infinite' trailer focuses on Elizabeth

With only a little over a month to its release date, “BioShock Infinite” received a new trailer on February 19. The “Lamb of Columbia” trailer focuses more on Elizabeth and her unusual powers. It also brings up memories of “BioShock 2,” especially of Sophia and Eleanor Lamb. As Eleanor was supposed to be Rapture’s savior, the new trailer seems to set Elizabeth up in a similar fashion. Although, it is not known what her relationship is to Columbia’s Zachary Comstock.

In the trailer we see more of Columbia’s enemies, like the Boys of Silence. There’s also a glimpse into the interaction between Elizabeth and Booker. “BioShock Infinite” promises more moral dilemmas, and this is clear in the video. The question“...what price will you pay to set her free?” shows the ambiguous morality gamers are used to seeing in “BioShock”titles. There’s a sense that Booker’s mission morphs from getting her out of Columbia to also keeping her away from the people who sent him there in the first place.

Gamers will finally learn Columbia's secrets on March 26, 2013 when it releases for the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3.
