New Belgium Brewing continues to innovate and define the type of role a craft brewery can play, not only as a beer distributor but also as an active member of the community. Today, New Belgium has announced this year's touring schedule for New Belgium Clips.
This year will mark the five-year anniversary for New Belgium Clips and it will run from May 22 through November 6. The states that will be hosting the event are ones such as Indiana, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Colorado, Washington, California, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida and Texas.
For exact dates and the cities New Belgium Clips will be stopping by at, check out the full schedule on the brewery's website. If you haven't been to the event yet, Clips will not be charging folks who'd like to attend the event, all sales from beer sold will end up with local nonprofit groups.
Another obvious, very attractive reason why you need to make it to New Belgium Clips is the 18 different types of New Belgium beers that will be on tap. Folks will be able to choose between 3-ounce sample pours or a more traditional 12-ounce pour.
New Belgium Brewing will be showing off about 20 different short films. Over the course of each stop, Clips will reroute about 85% of the waste from each event via local organizations, keeping it out of landfills, all part of New Belgium's commitment to keeping the environment strong.
"Clips inspires an atmosphere that celebrates creativity and gives people a fun way to enjoy an evening out.
"We set the stage for people to come together, enjoy some beer, friends, films and donate to their community - all under the stars in a local park. It’s a great time for all," Christie Catania, who is the Clips National Special Events manager said.
