Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting to see "Before Midnight" on the big screen. On Tuesday, Jan. 22, Flavorwire shared the latest comments made by Richard Linklater about the film. Movieline shared new photos from the film, and Getty Images also shared new photos of Julie Delpy at the premiere of the film. Check out the new photos from this film by visiting this link.
"Before Midnight" is the third in a series of films by Richard Linklater starring Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy. This third film picks up the couple's life nine years after the second film. Linklater said the following about the theme of this new film, according to Flavorwire:
"Each film is not really about time. We’re just picking up, but you put them together and yeah, it’s clearly a comment on aging and maturing and all that."
Delpy also spoke about the film in a new interview released by Entertainment Weekly on Monday. She said the following about the journey those involved with the making the three films have experienced:
"We basically evolve with this film, so I think the first movie neither of us had kids, the second film Ethan had kids and I didn't, and now we all have kids. It is like all evolving with our lives. Not that our lives are specific to Jesse and Celine and their lives. Everyone's life is evolving that way."
This third film shows the next step in the process of their relationship. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy reunited on screen? This just made my year. #sundance #BeforeMidnight
Scottsdale residents will be able to see this film at the Harkins Scottsdale Fashion Square 7 or at another local theater in the area once it is released.
