A new bank is coming to Circle this year. Garfield County Bank of Jordan announced they will be opening their Redwater Valley Bank branch mid to late summer at 300 Main Street in Circle, Montana.
Redwater Valley Bank will be a full service bank offering agriculture, commercial, housing, installment, and personal loans at fair rates to customers. Checking, savings, and time deposits will also be offered. Additional services offered will be a night depository, credit cards, debit cards, official checks, wire transfers, and on-line banking. Any customer served by Garfield County Bank or Redwater Valley Bank will be able to conduct their business through either location. Redwater Valley Bank’s mission is to maintain a profitable and competitive institution and serve the financial needs of the community, its businesses, and its citizens.
Jana Hance has been hired as the project manager for the Redwater Valley Bank branch and is currently working out of the main Garfield County Bank branch in Jordan. Jana will assume the duties of Branch Manager when the Redwater Valley Bank branch opens for business. Hance is a native of Jordan where she attended Cat Creek Elementary and graduated from Garfield County District High School in 1990. She obtained her Associate of Applied Science Degree from Dawson Community College in 1992. Hance is married to Circle native Flint Hance. Flint and Jana have two children, Shaylee, a college freshman at Central Wyoming College, and Boyd, a high school senior at Circle High School. Hance has ten years of experience in the financial industry and has worked with the public since before graduating from high school. While in Circle Hance has been involved with the Circle Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture (President for 2 years), Circle School Board Member (4 years), Town and Country Day, Spares Bowling League, Craft Show Organizer, Circle Rodeo Club (secretary for 15 years), PRCA Rodeo Committee, and is the local Pampered Chef Consultant.
The new bank will be new construction and North American Buildings, Inc. of Wichita, Kansas is the building contractor. The 2100 sq. ft. modular building will be set on a full basement which will be completed by local contractors. The building will feature a brick and stucco exterior and a hip roof. The building will be heated and cooled with ground-source heat pumps.
