New 'Assassin's Creed 4' details revealed (Photos)

"Assassin's Creed 4" has only be announced, but some news and indications have been given as to whether or not "Assassin's Creed 4" will be featuring the previous title's protagonist, Connor.

According to a report uncovered by Examiner today, "Assassin’s Creed 3’s" creative director Marc-Alexis Cote talked about whether or not the third piece of DLC will be the end to Connor's tale.

"That’s an excellent question and one that I cannot answer [laughs]. There is always something more to tell about our characters and more side-stories to explore for Altair, Ezio and Connor.

"We’re building games about the lives of these people, but there is so much stuff to explore in history. And that’s what is magical about 'Assassin’s Creed.'

"We have an endless quantity of material and I like to be able to show different periods to players.

Cote then talked about the new direction the George Washington DLC took with some of the abilities Connor has.

"It is canon, it is part of the main story and we know where we are going with it.

"It’s done in a manner that’s super respectful and players will finish the DLC and say ‘huh, interesting,'" Cote said.
