There are several new episodes airing this coming week, January 28 – February 3, for fans of TV ghost hunters as well as announcements about renewals.
On Tuesday, Syfy has a “Destination Truth” marathon including all seven episodes of season five. Syfy still hasn’t mentioned a renewal for the series so it looks like season five was also its final season. “Destination Truth” host Josh Gates created and produces a new series from Syfy titled “Stranded,” which is set to premiere February 27 on Syfy.
Wednesday on Syfy, is a new episode of “Ghost Hunters.” This episode has the TAPS team investigating the former Peoria State Hospital. Also as far as “Ghost Hunters” news, Amy Bruni has been back filming episodes with the team, but there hasn’t been any specific mention of which upcoming episode is her first one back.
Wednesday also has a new episode of “Ghost Mine” airing right after the new “Ghost Hunters” on Syfy. There are also several opportunities to catch up with reruns of the first two episodes of the series being aired at various times during the coming week.
On Friday night, the Travel Channel has new episodes airing for “Ghost Adventures” and “The Dead Files.” Earlier in the week it was announced that both of them have been renewed for a new season, which will be season eight for “Ghost Adventures” and season four for “The Dead Files.”
