The return of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” is just around the corner and cast photos have been released. Perez Hilton shared the photos on March 13.
The shows were cancelled in 2012 and have been off the airways for nearly a year. Prospect Park bought the right and will be airing the soaps on Hulu and iTunes beginning April 29.
Returning cast members include Robert S. Woods, Hillary B. Smith, David Canary, Debbi Morgan, Erika Slezak, Julia Barr, Jill Larsen, Cady McClain and Robin Strasser. Celebrity trainers have surely been busy helping these stars get ready for their return to the screen.
Soap opera fans are anxiously awaiting seeing what their favorite characters are up to. Betty Beck says she watched ABC soaps for over 40 years. “I hope Susan Lucci makes at least occasional appearances,” she said. “It just won’t be the same without Erica Kane.”
“All My Children” has already started production and “One Life to Live” begins next week.
