New Age Outlaws return on RAW, Should WWE give them one more run?

On Monday's episode of RAW, aptly dubbed "Old School" RAW, the former 5-time WWF tag-team champions The New Age Outlaws (NAO) returned to the WWE for one night only. According to a March 5th report by WWE.com, the duo of Billy Gunn and "Road Dogg" Jesse James were successful in their tag-team match as they defeated Epico and Primo. In fact, the NAO looked good in the match and had the crowd chanting "one more run" and "you still got it".

I'm here to tell you that yes they "still got it", especially when you compare them to the rest of the tag-team division. I believe that the WWE should give this duo a short run through the Survivor Series. The tag-team division has cooled off since a resurgence of sorts last year. Additionally, the WWE Universe doesn't really care about any of the tag-teams right now, which is due to poor booking and not in-ring effort.

The champs (Kane and Daniel Bryan) have worn out their novelty act and appear destined for a single's feud. The handful of other teams on the roster have made little impact on RAW or SmackDown except for a few moments here and there.

Gunn and James would spark some nostalgia with the WWE Universe and give the tag-team division a little boost. Additionally, they are still good enough to wrestle in short matches, which that's all the tag-team division gets anyways.

Let's not forget that their good friend, and former stable mate back in DX, is Triple H. And we all know the stroke he now carries with the company. If there's any chance, of a run with the company, it will be at the behest of HHH. Fortunately, for NAO fans, Triple H is fired up right now about his buddies. He made the following comments on his Twitter page about the tag-team match:

"Just watched the New Age Outlaws @WWERoadDogg @realbillygunn..... Goosebumps!!! Awesome!!!! If your not down with that......you know"

Well, Triple H, let's see how "down" you really are with Billy Gunn and Jesse James. Give them one more run.
