New addition for 2013 for Lake Compounce

The oldest continuously operating amusement park in the country is constantly updating itself and keeping up with the trends of the entertainment industry. In 2013 the park will be adding a new attraction that is sure to be a favorite among guests of the park.

The attraction called Bayou Bay will be a massive wave pool that will be located in the newly developed Crocodile Cove Water Park. This new wave action pool will be more than double the size of the current wave pool. In addition, a giant fiberglass statue of the Lake's new mascot, Kyle the Crocodile, will be over looking the all new Bayou Bay. The area will also receive a second bathhouse, with more restrooms and changing areas.

This new water park will certainly keep a large number of patrons of the park cool and entertained with a southern bayou style. Since the Louisiana bayou is one of the places American crocodiles call home this is a fitting theme for Lake Compounce that will now host Kyle and his many fans on hot summer days.
