New ad campaign to launch July 7 calling Obama proposals 'exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany'

The anti-Obama group, Our Country Deserves Better PAC, has announced that it will launch an advertising campaign featuring a video claiming that Obama is using tactics common to Hitler’s Germany. An audio teaser video (below) has been released as a fundraising tool to buy time to air the ad.

The ad lists a series of actions including the report ordered by the Bush administration on right wing extremists released by the Department of Homeland Security after Bush left office. They quote an un-named Congressman saying, “They proposed a civilian security force and an American congressman warned it was exactly what Hitler did in Nazi Germany."

The group is chaired by Howard Kaloogian, a California political operative and gadfly who ran and lost in the special election to replace disgraced Congressman Randy "Duke" Cunningham is no stranger to controversy. On March 28, 2006, Howard Kaloogian's campaign website displayed a street-level photograph which was claimed to have been recently taken in downtown Baghdad with the caption, “"Downtown Baghdad. We took this photo of dowtown [sic] Baghdad while we were in Iraq. Iraq (including Baghdad) is much more calm and stable than what many people believe it to be. But, each day the news media finds any violence occurring in the country and screams and shouts about it - in part because many journalists are opposed to the U.S. effort to fight terrorism." After reports pointing out that the photo was a misrepresentation it was replaced with the message, "We originally posted a photograph not of Baghdad, Iraq but from Istanbul, Turkey where our delegation traveled on the way home to the United States. We apologize for this mistake." Kaloogian later said using the photo was "a stupid mistake". Other reports indicate a pattern of altering photos or falsely claiming endorsements.

Kaloogian is also the chair of the right wing group Move America Forward that has campaigns to keep the prison at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base open and to fire Janet Napolitano ostensibly for releasing the Bush “right wing extremist threat” report.

Anyone who is familiar with Germany's Third Reich under Hitler knows very well that the eight years living under the Bush/Cheney criminal enterprize was almost an exact mirror image of Hitler's Nazi operation. Its' a miracle the country still holds life since the aftermath of Bush/Cheney has been devastating in all economic, health, political and public arenas. Cheney just replaced the assault of the Jews with assaults on Islam and the lust for oil and fuel following in the footsteps of the Hitler mob to keep big industry and the Pentagon/military flush with warring and nation building. While Bush mired in power, invading and making the big decisions, criminality and massive Ponzi schemes, and unprecedented public fleecing from health, to credit, to housing, to insurance, etc..., etc... ran and runs rampant. So when you talk about Hitler, and want to include Obama, make sure Bush/Cheney are at the top of the list.

Where is the video? Who did it offend?Obama?

It is not the Obama Administration that is Hitlerian, it is nuts-case imbecilic groups misinforming and disinforming the overwhelmingly largest pathetically ovibovine demographic of misanthropes of all the industrialized nations on the planet that have practicing the methods ego-maniacal Goebbels propagandist.

Any references to Hitler, Nazi Germany, and/or the SS are not only historically inaccurate but incredibly offensive as well.

Jen is right. Obama should be compared to another leader who was very well liked and received when fresh on the scene. He liked to be called Il Duce. "Where socialism sought totalitarian control of a society’s economic processes through direct state operation of the means of production, fascism sought that control indirectly, through domination of nominally private owners."

"through domination of nominally private owners" Can you say GM, Chrysler, AIG, Fannie Mae,
Freddie Mac, etc. With the auto companies, the "nominally private owners" are the UAW union.

"Where socialism nationalized property explicitly, fascism did so implicitly, by requiring owners to use their property in the “national interest”—that is, as the autocratic authority conceived it."

Proposed "green building codes". Kelo! What cars we will be able to buy or afford.

"Where socialism abolished all market relations outright, fascism left the appearance of market relations while planning all economic activities."
"Planning boards set product lines, production levels, prices, wages, working conditions, and the size of firms."

Executive pay Czar. Bank Bailout Czar. Climate change Czar.
Controlling the auto union to run the factory the way the autocratic authority deems fit. Controlling the largest financial companies.

"State ministries, rather than consumers, determined what was produced and under what conditions."

The new Council on Automotive Communities and Workers. The Salt and Trans Fat Nazis everywhere.
    The Soda Police.

"Licensing was ubiquitous; no economic activity could be undertaken without government permission. Levels of consumption were dictated by the state, and “excess” incomes had to be surrendered as taxes or “loans.”"

    Self explanatory.

"To maintain high employment and minimize popular discontent, fascist governments also undertook massive public-works projects financed by steep taxes, borrowing, and fiat money creation. While many of these projects were domestic—roads, buildings, stadiums"

    Again, self explanatory.
    Hitler he is not!

    Read for yourself.
