Bachelor Nation is about to add another reality dating show to the mix. A new spin-off of "The Bachelor" is on the horizon for ABC and it may prove to be a sizzler. According to Entertainment Weekly on March 21, “Bachelor in Paradise” will be premiering for the network's upcoming TV summer lineup.

There will be some familiar faces as the show is planning on bringing back past contestants that want to give love another chance. There is no word yet on just who will be in the running. It will be interesting to see who is brave enough to come back to all of the drama. The exact location has not yet been revealed but it does sound like there will be plenty of sun to go around.

The reality series has six episodes lined up with the contestants living together in isolation in a romantic paradise. Of course, roses will still be a big part of this one as well. You certainly can’t have a “Bachelor” franchise without them. ABC has promised many twists, shocking surprises, and unlikely relationships. It is being called the ‘romantic television event of the summer.’

Another familiar face will be Chris Harrison as host of this new reality dating show. Did you think he would miss all the fun in paradise? In fact, he expressed his excitement right after the official announcement was made.

“Let the fun & love begin #BachelorinParadise this Summer!!!” Harrison wrote on his Twitter account.

“Bachelor in Paradise” begins on May 19 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC, right after the premiere of “The Bachelorette.”
