Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting for the release of Magic Mike and 21 Jump Street to theaters. On Tuesday, Movie Web shared two new posters released for 21 Jump Street featuring Channing Tatum and his co-star Jonah Hill. Check out the posters here. Channing Tatum has a busy year ahead of him, Not only does he have 21 Jump Street coming out to theaters, but he also appears in Haywire and Magic Mike is currently in post production. The Vow is also set for release in February. Check out photos recently released from that film here.
Magic Mike is a film loosely based on events in his own life that happened when he was nineteen years old and worked for several months as a male stripper. He spoke about how the film came to be in a recent interview. He said the following, according to Screen Rant:
We were sitting over a beer and I told him that I was a stripper for eight months when I was nineteen. And he said that would be a great movie. And I said, ‘well I want to make a movie out of it.’ And he’s said, ‘you should write it.’ And I’m like, ‘yeah Soderbergh, Steven Soderbergh I’ll go write that.’ Cut to three or four months later, I read an interview where he said that he would be willing to direct. I called him up and said, ‘how much bulls**t is in this article?’ He was like, ‘I’m as serious as bone’s spur, we should sit down.’ And we sat down…at Carney’s over a hot dog ironically enough. And we decided to do it.
Magic Mike features an all-star cast of actors that include Alex Pettyfer, White Collar's Matt Bomer, and True Blood star Joe Manganiello. The film is set for release this summer.
Fans are buzzing about this actor and his work on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:

Scottsdale residents will be able to see 21 Jump Street at the Harkins Fashion Square 7 or another local theater in the area starting March 16.
