From today until June 25, 2014, gamers will be able to take part in the golden jubilee for the Protector’s Enclave. In celebration of the event, the city will have a new look for a short time, the city will be filled with golden decorations and feasts. The Protector’s Garden will also open during the event, becoming a permanent addition to the city, but the keys to the gates are only collectable during the celebration event.

In addition, Elminster Aumar, the most powerful wizard in the Forgotten Realms will be in the city, bringing news of enemies across the Sword Coast, and a few quests. Players of all levels will be tasked with delivering covert messages around the region, and defenders of Protector’s Enclave will skirmish with enemies attempting to sneak into the city.

It won’t all be messenger quests and pretty decorations though, players will also be able to pick up some interesting rewards, including a variety of unlockable fashion items, consumables, and the motionless Throne of the Lion mount, a golden throne (It’s good to be the king). A new companion will also be available, complete with jester attire, which will go perfectly with the throne.
