Disney is releasing "Oz: The Great and Powerful" into theaters in March, 2013. The new release will give us insight into the story of the man behind the curtain, that the lion, tinman, scarecrow and even Dorothy never knew.

Once a magician with a dream of being a powerful man, Oz is whisked away to the Emerald City through the force of a tornado. After arriving, Oz begins to explore his new world. He soon sets up what will make him appear to be a powerful force in the land of green.
Oz was Oscar Diggs in his hometown, until he makes his new life in the land of Oz. We all know the story of the characters who arrive later in the story but "Oz: The Great and Powerful" will now let us see how the other half lives.
Watch for "Oz: The Great and Powerful" in theaters this March. Here's hoping the new release is as good as it has the potential to be. The action-comedy-fantasy film can develop into an amazing tale, should it be written and acted well.
