Nevada Seeks to Help Homeowners

The Nevada Attorney General’s office has come out with a new program effective this month to help homeowners in a variety of situations. The program is called Home Again and is a resource where homeowners can determine what state or federal assistance may be available.

Attorney General Catherin Cortez Masto initiated the program. It is designed for homeowners seeking a loan modification, those who have already lost their home to foreclosure and borrowers who are current but upside down, or “underwater” in their homes. Those who are seeking homeownership can also find helpful information.

Home Again is a free program. Information can be found on the web at http://www.homeagainnevada.gov/.
