Living in Nevada offers many opportunities to live under the bright lights, and big names. If you live in Nevada and you find yourself in need of medical marijuana, the state offers a registry program to get you off in the right direction.
To obtain an application for a medical marijuana permit you must request one in writing for $50. You can also visit a compassion clinic in the state and they will handle everything for you (some charge additional fees to do this). The THC Foundation has a clinic in Las Vegas. There is also another clinic in Las Vegas called Medical Marijuana Referrals.
Nevada’s permit fees are relatively high compared to the other states. There is a $50 application fee in addition to a $150 registration fee. Don’t forget you will also have to pay for the doctor’s appointment.
Once you get your permit you can grow your own medicine or obtain it from an assigned caregiver. Currently, there are no dispensaries in Nevada.
