“Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking,” Miranda Priestly deadpans from “The Devil Wears Prada.” Floral fashion is a no-brainer for spring, and neutral colors is the same when discussing beauty and makeup.

The heavier jewel tone lip colors are best left for the holidays and winter seasons, although a poppy coral is perfect for warmer weather. And a classic red lip never goes out of style. If you are wanting to go for a more subdued, but still pretty lip this spring, then nude is the way to go.

Pouty Pop Crayon in Rose Romance is a girly pink that is muted enough to not overwhelm the face. It’s pretty alone or works well as a base color to lighten up a darker lip shade to make it spring appropriate. The "crayon" aspect helps the color glide on and is moisturizing for the lips.

B Gloss Lip Gloss in Fiore is a shimmery pink brown lip color that is a go-to neutral shade for every day. For ladies with a warmer skin tone, this color is perfect to add that little bit of shine without being too shimmery.

Michael Kors lip color in Muse is a beautiful peach tone with just a little bit of sparkle. The slightly thicker formula makes it so you don’t have to reapply quite as often. It is an ideal shade for most skin tones.

Our clocks have sprung forward, which means we can start to break out the best spring trends. Which neutral lip color is your favorite?
