Netflix teases with 'House of Cards' season two trailer

"House of Cards" stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright is a suspenseful political drama, set among the powerful policymakers of Washington D.C. The drama made history as the first internet streaming series to be nominated for major Primetime Emmy Awards for its first season. The attention brought by the Emmy and Golden Globe nominations should bring additional interest to the series.

The attached video trailer includes a frenetic sequence of highlights from the first season and first look footage from the upcoming. second season of "House of Cards." The build up is designed to encourage viewers to tune in to the political potboiler, which has become a critical darling.

"House of Cards" led the Golden Globe nominations, which were announced on Dec. 12. The drama received four noms, including Best TV Series, Drama; Best Actress in a TV Series, Drama (Robin Wright); Best Actor in a TV Series, Drama (Kevin Spacey); and Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Mini-Series or TV Movie (Corey Stoll).

The second season of House of Cards premieres Fri., Feb. 14, 2014 on Netflix.
