Netflix subscription price increases by $1 a month

The Netflix subscription price has gone up again. On Friday, USA Today shared the news about the price going up. It is only by $1, but it is enough that some people might decide to cancel their subscription or think twice about getting a new one. It will now cost $8.99 a month to get the unlimited streaming offered by this company.

The statement from Netflix said, "To continue adding more movies and TV shows and delivering a great streaming experience, we previously announced that we planned to increase our price slightly for new members. That increase is happening today." They did announce this increase was coming last month. The thing is if you already subscribe to Netflix your price isn't going up for two more years. That is a great deal for current customers.

This should mean that they will be working on more shows such as "Orange is the New Black" and "House of Cards." These have done very well for them. Things are going well and so there is no reason to not continue doing new shows.
