First Lionsgate teamed up with CoverGirl for the all new 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' makeup collection (read about it here) and now they are joining forces with Net-A-Porter for an exclusive fashion partnership announced on Sept 4 on BWW Fashion World.
The highly anticipated second movie of 'The Hunger Games' trilogy will feature an all new clothing line called 'Capitol Couture by Trish Summerville'. The line will consist of jewelry, leather goods and 16 ready to wear pieces. Trish Summerville is also known as the film's costume designer.
"I am extremely proud of the designs that we created for 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' and there's no partner more appropriate for 'Capitol Couture' than the world's most cutting-edge luxury retailer," Summerville said. "I can't wait to share it with the public through this exclusive partnership with Lionsgate and NET-A-PORTER."
The announcement comes just as Summerville was honored Sept. 4 as Costume Designer of the Year for her work on the movie at the 10th Annual Style Awards in NY that marked the beginning of New York Fashion Week.
The Capitol Couture by Trish Summerville' will be launched Nov. 23 the same date as the official release of 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' in theaters.
