On Friday, Nestle Purina Pet Care Company of St. Louis, Mo. issued a voluntary recall of Purina One Beyond Our White Meat Chicken and Whole Barley Recipe Adult Dry Dog Food for possible salmonella contamination.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration press release states only one product has been recalled after finding one bag contaminated with salmonella. The product is packaged in a 3.5 pound bag. "Best By" Date and Production Code are found on the bottom of the bag or on the back as follows:

No illnesses have been reported.
Consumers are asked to discard the food.
If your dog has consumed this food and is exhibiting any signs of illness, please consult with a licensed veterinarian immediately. Salmonella poisoning presents with decreased appetite, abdominal pain, diarrhea, or fever. Please be sure to wash your hands thoroughly before handling any foods.
