Neonatal Kitten Care Workshop takes place in Bethesda in April

Alley Cat Allies will hold a workshop, Increasing Survival Rates of Rescued Kittens on Saturday, April 26, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.The all-day workshop is designed to provide in-depth training on neonatal kitten care. The workshop will be hosted by Feline Outreach, Rescue, & Education.

Whether an individual works with kittens in the field, shelter, or a foster home or just want to be prepared for anything, the workshop will be beneficial. Participants will receive valuable information that will help increase the survival rates of rescued kittens. Topic will include how to assess the condition of kittens, stabilize critical kittens, prevent and treat common illnesses, and more. Participants will also learn how to treat URIs, internal and external parasites, diarrhea, ringworm, and other common conditions.

The workshop will convene at the Alley Cat Allies Office, 7920 Norfolk Ave., Suite 500, Bethesda, MD 20814.75 General admission, $50 for Feral Friends Network Members. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Space is limited and interested participants should register here.
