On Jan. 13 it was officially announced in an issued press release that the multi-platinum group Neon Trees will release their third studio album, "Pop Psychology" on April 22 via Island Def Jam. The lead single from the album is "Sleeping with a Friend" and that song was released on Jan. 10. You can stream the album's lead single here.

Neon Trees' upcoming album "Pop Psychology" was recorded throughout 2013 in Cabo San Lucas, Los Angeles, and Provo. The album was both produced and mixed by Tim Pagnotta, who had previously worked with the band on their singles "Animal" and "Everybody Talks".

In the issued press release Neon Trees' lead singer Tyler Glenn said, "The album is so special to me personally because it basically started from a place where I was broken and uninterested in anything to do with music. I had reached a breaking point. For me this record is a celebration, a cry for help, an admission of self doubt, and a revelation of self acceptance."
