Newt Gingrich, purported conservative establishment man and proponent of "climate change" hysteria, spoke at Claremont Colleges Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

The website's announcement stated

"Newt Gingrich, former speaker of the United States House of Representatives and conservative visionary, will speak at Scripps College on Wednesday, February 3, at 7:30 p.m. in Garrison Theater as part of the fourth annual Elizabeth Hubert Malott Public Affairs Program. The event is free and open to the public, and a book signing will follow the talk."

Gingrich, whose speech was entitled "Effective Leadership for Real Change,"  is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a group whose known goal is establishment of world government.

When previously confronted on government involvement in the attacks of 9/11/01, Gingrich replied  "Anyone who believes 9/11 was not an enemy attack is insane."  Alleged to be a high level freemason and an acknowledged member of California's occultic bohemian grove, Gingrich admitted agreement with Democrats on an extremely contentious issue of alleged "global warming", stating  "we do agree our country must take action to address climate change."   During an April 2007 debate on the issue with Skull and Bones member John Kerry, Gingrich stated "that the evidence is sufficient that we should move towards the most effective possible steps to reduce carbon loading in the atmosphere."

In one of his more blatantly outrageous statements addressing terrorism, Gingrich suggested the government allow attacks, saying "This is … one of the great tragedies of the Bush administration...The more successful they’ve been at intercepting and stopping bad guys, the less proof there is that we’re in danger. And therefore, the better they’ve done at making sure there isn’t an attack, the easier it is to say, ‘Well, there never was going to be an attack anyway.’ And it’s almost like they should every once in a while have allowed an attack to get through just to remind us."

The auditorium was nearly full and Gingrich took questions from attendees for about twenty minutes after his speech. He signed copies of his books afterwards, which were for sale in the lobby. At the end of the book signing, Gingrich was questioned about his role in secret societies and denied all involvement.
